By seeking out health insurance information online and taking the time to fill out contact information, prospects are signifying interest in protection for themselves and/or their family.

Your challenge is to contact and maintaining interest with the lead. For many, the appeal of the internet is that it is anonymous with very low pressure; anyone can do it. So internet prospects may not respond quickly to telephone-only contact. Telemarketing Leads

A telemarketing lead begins with a contact made by a professional telephone operator. Professional callers perform an outbound call. The leads are carefully screened to remove people on group insurance and those who indicate they are not healthy. The result is a semi-qualified lead of an interested person.

Contact rates are typically higher and there may be multiple interested people at the business location. The prospect provides the phone operator with basic contact information and enough information to support a basic quote. By providing this detailed information and acknowledging they would like someone to contact them, prospects are showing their interest.
